anAneel Kumar, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Meritorious Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, has been awarded the title of “Invited Professor, Associate at University of Oradea” by University of Oradea in recognition of his outstanding academic and research contributions.
According to the diploma issued by the Romanian university, the honor was conferred upon Dr. Aneel Kumar for his three decades of teaching and research achievements in diversified fields including sub-soil investigations, shallow and deep foundation design, mechanical and chemical soil stabilization, contamination migration through porous media, and eco-friendly sustainable construction materials.
The university also acknowledged his efforts in promoting global academic cooperation and strengthening collaboration between international universities.
The diploma was issued in Oradea on May 6, 2026, and was signed by Rector Prof. Dr. Constantin Bungău and President of the Senate Associate Professor Dr. Aurel Căuș.
