The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has facilitated the approval of the 435-kilometer Machike–Thallian–Tarru Jabba White Oil Pipeline (WOP), a major infrastructure project aimed at strengthening Pakistan’s energy security, improving fuel transportation, and enhancing national connectivity.
The project has remained a priority under SIFC’s strategic framework, with the Memorandum of Understanding signed through the Council’s platform, underscoring its role in fostering international cooperation and attracting investment in Pakistan’s energy sector.
Through effective coordination among relevant stakeholders, SIFC helped resolve key challenges and expedite the approval process, paving the way for the implementation of this significant project.
Once completed, the White Oil Pipeline will serve as a critical south-to-north corridor for the transportation of white oil across the country.
The project is expected to improve fuel supply efficiency, reduce dependence on road transport, lower logistics costs, minimize fuel losses, and strengthen the reliability of Pakistan’s energy supply chain.
In addition to enhancing energy security, the pipeline project is expected to create employment opportunities, support the modernization of energy infrastructure, and boost investor confidence by demonstrating Pakistan’s commitment to facilitating large-scale strategic investments.
