Three products one generation!
Qaiser Mukhtar’s new entries to create a ripple in HVACR market!
Three products one generation! They, recently, held a successful seminar in Lahore and brought well known architects, consultants, contractors & servicing Industry’s experienced individuals under one roof in Pearl Continental Hotel Lahore.
The company has launched several HVACR products, which may earn the company a new distinction in Pakistani market.?
They include:
A range of Turkish products used in the HVAC & Construction by ODE, 2) Different types Copper Tubes & pipes by CRANE and3) A series of KRYON branded refrigeration gases produced in Italy by General Gas.
What make all these products valuable is their international certifications and standards falling in line with the international environmental protocol. These manufacturers are making sure to create a benchmark for the competitors in the Pakistan market.
Plainly, the introduction of these products by QMB would help & promote national and global efforts to minimize processes and contamination of the environment; says Syed Adnan Qaiser, the pioneer of the launch of these products. ‘We are proud to be the distributors of these eco-friendly and world class products in Pakistan.’
Their special guests Mr. Ozan Turan (Director of International Business development in ODE) and Miss Benguil (Civil Engineer) of ODE came a long way from Turkey.
Mr. Ozan delivered a detailed presentation about ODE’s history that how they established step by step over 30 years. He also focused on the vision that how they want to grow in Pakistan with QMB.
Miss Benguil handled the technical specification and product range in her presentation.
ODE includes glass wool insulation, elastomericrubber foam insulation, water proofing membrane and other products which all are Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certified. They are from the family of top class technology and fit for human health and our environment.
Another important event by the company was introduction of CRANE COPPER TUBE& pipes, manufactured in South Korea, designed with different classes & proper wall thicknesses for ensuring appropriate and safe working pressure.
Crane copper tube is manufactured in accordance with British, American, Australian/New Zealand and European standards. All Crane copper tubes are electronically tested by Eddy current method to ensure the tube’s integrity as part of Crane copper tube quality system.
A major ingredient required for these standards is cleanliness of the tubes & pipes because of the vulnerability of these to fungus. These pipes are clean and ready-to-use product.
Crane produces medical pipes under the ASTM B819 & BS EN13348 standards and QMB has taken pains to introduce the same to the market where these special grades are necessary to be used because of the safety of the human health. ‘Traditional pipes used for medical purposes are hazardous to human health because fungus accumulates on oxygen path and develops more diseases”
Hence, some hospitals have used Crane’s special medical pipes in their newly developed blocks.
Through projects like those the company has executed the awareness amongst peers and has begun to attract serious customers of this product.
Further, Mr. Syed Salman Qaiser, unveiled that the consultants & contractors working on a hospital project in KPK ensured international standards by enquiring and using these medical copper tubes for the first time in Pakistan.
Chief Guests: Mr. Raja Nasir Ali Khan from MARCO consultants, Add. Director Technical Lt. Col. Ubaid-Ur-Rehman (Retd.) from D.H.A. Lahore, Architect Hassan from Hassan Associates & More than 220 representatives of renowned companies like NESPAK, REMCA Associates, Gree, MEP, Orient, LG, Greaves and potential buyers attended the seminar and left with an intense interest in all these products the company has launched.
Flanked by ODE and Crane, General Gas’s Kryon holds yet a higher merit as they are 100% genuine Italian producers and are pursuing advanced stages of Research and Development (R&D) aimed at exploring the gases which are friendly to our environment. The research eyes the Montreal Protocol and is striving to find out the gases, which are safe for the environment and confirming to have low global warming potential (GWP).
General gas’s refrigeration gases such as R 134a, R 404A, R 407C and R 410A are environmental friendly.
The company has already an edge in the market for its zero-tolerance for low quality products and the introduction of these latest products only consolidates its footprints in the HVACR business in Pakistan.
But how would it be for the company to creep in the market filled with cheaper products is a billion dollar question. “We have a vast experience and skills to read the dynamics of the market. Also, we have a comprehensive market strategy woven into a complete plan of awareness sessions and technical seminars to meet the challenge,” explained the company’s CEO Mr. Carmine.
Also, QMB pursues its objective with the help of HVACR Society and vigilant consultants. It’s efforts bore fruits in Technical seminar too where the level of interest shown by the clients proves the effort is right on track.
Pakistan being a developing economy has a lot of potential for HVACR business and QMB is aware of this fact. ‘Lifestyle is changing in Pakistan and thus the demand for chillers and refrigeration is on the rise as people want solutions’, Qaiser says.
Mr. Mukhtar Ali concluded the evening with a special thanks to the audience and appreciated the presence of their special guests from different countries and from Pakistan.
Pakistani market would continue to grow in foreseeable future because there is a huge transformation in the society. Ceiling Fans is to be replaced with the Air Conditioners which is the change, he concludes.
