MariEnergies Strikes Third Gas, Condensate Discovery at Spinwam-1

This latest discovery was made in the Hangu Formation, with the well producing 23.85 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of gas and approximately 122 barrels per day (bbl/day) of condensate. The test was conducted at a 32/64″ choke, recording a Well Head Flowing Pressure (WHFP) of 4,042 pounds per square inch gauge (psig).

MariEnergies shared this information in a notice sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange. It further says: This follows an earlier announcement, referenced in letter No. CA-25-4427 dated March 17, 2025, which confirmed the discovery of gas and condensate in the Kawagarh Formation at the same well. Further testing of additional targeted formations is ongoing to assess the full potential of Spinwam-1.

MariEnergies operates the Waziristan Block with a 55% working interest, while Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) holds 35% and Orient Petroleum Inc. holds 10% as joint venture partners. – ER
