Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has made significant strides in improving student services with the opening of its Facilitation and Call Centers in October 2022. By December 2024, the Facilitation Center had assisted 466,872 students and processed over 66,000 applications. The Call Center handled over 600,000 inquiries related to admissions, course materials, exams, and more, with high satisfaction ratings.
Located near the main entrance, the Facilitation Center consolidates multiple services in one place, eliminating the need for students to visit various departments. It offers student advisory services, fee submissions, and support for exams, degrees, and other administrative tasks. The center is equipped with modern amenities, including seating for 130 students, free Wi-Fi, and wheelchair access for differently-abled students. A streamlined queuing system ensures quick service.
