In a major step toward sustainable energy adoption, Big Bird Foods Limited has signed an agreement with DSG Energy, a leading provider of industrial renewable energy solutions in Pakistan, for the purchase and installation of a 3 Megawatt (MW) solar power system at its production facility.
The installation, expected to be completed within three months, will enable Big Bird Foods to meet a significant portion of its energy needs through renewable sources. The system is projected to deliver substantial annual savings in energy costs, while contributing to improved operational efficiency and environmental sustainability.
DSG Energy, with over 600 MW of solar installations nationwide, is known for its advanced solar solutions tailored for industries such as textiles, manufacturing, and food production.
