Karachi Port Trust (KPT) successfully handled 18 ships during the last 24 hours, according to operational data released by the port authorities.
The vessel activity included 4 container ships, 4 general cargo vessels, and several bulk carriers docked at Karachi Port’s various berths.
During this period, a total of 68,455 metric tons of cargo was managed at the port. This comprised 42,568 metric tons of import cargo and 25,887 metric tons of export cargo, demonstrating a balanced flow of trade through one of Pakistan’s busiest maritime hubs.
KPT continues to play a vital role in sustaining the country’s trade and logistics operations, efficiently managing diverse cargo and vessel types on a daily basis. – Karachi, May 13, 2025
