Matco Foods Incorporates New Subsidiary, Renames Existing One as Part of Strategic Restructuring

According to a notice shared by the company, Matco Corn Products (Private) Limited, a 99.99% owned subsidiary, has been officially incorporated. Additionally, the company has renamed Matco Marketing (Private) Limited—also 99.99% owned—as Falak Foods (Private) Limited.

The company stated that this restructuring is part of its strategy to carve out its Corn Starch Division and Falak Foods Division into separate, wholly-owned subsidiaries. The move is aimed at attracting strategic partnerships and investment, securing additional funding, and enabling each division to align more effectively with its core market dynamics.

“We believe this step will strengthen our competitive position and support long-term shareholder value creation,” the company added.

Matco Foods Limited is a leading exporter of rice and a growing player in the processed food and ingredient space, with its flagship brand Falak distributed in over 60 countries. – ENGINEERING REVIEW
