SPEL, formerly known as Synthetic Products Enterprises Limited, has successfully energized a 1 MW solar power project, complementing its previously installed 2.55 MW of green energy. This initiative is part of the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy.
With this addition, the company now meets approximately 23% to 25% of its annual electricity requirements through clean, renewable energy, according to a notice issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
“This achievement underscores our commitment to sustainable practices and our dedication to contributing to a greener, cleaner Pakistan,” the company stated.
Incorporated in 1982, Synthetic Products Enterprises Limited (SPEL) is a Pakistani manufacturer of plastic auto parts, food and FMCG packaging, and molds & dies. The company is listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). ER
