The camera cannot apprehend criminals; it indicates loopholes which are to be plugged in so that the crime comes down in the society, says Syed Aurangzeb of Surveillance Security Systems, a company working for over one and a half decade.
Aurangzeb whom Engineering Review contacted in Security Asia says they had introduced a trend in the country which the company was following. Today, he said they were introducing a safe city concept which is also based on the same trend.

Aurangzeb recalled the times when there was scant knowledge of camera but today, he says camera warns you in advance with the help of facial recognition as to how the security should be managed.
This works through a database which provides you information about suspects anywhere where the system is installed. This database, he says uses 90 per cent less resources than SQL system. It is fast, based on Delphi language and gives you real-time video.
Aurangzeb was happy to be in the expo because his company obtained expected response from the visitors.
