
CATCH_VR is an international consortium comprising eight universities from Pakistan and Europe, aimed at enhancing immersive learning, AR/VR technologies, and Digital Twin innovation within engineering education. As a key member of the consortium, QUEST Nawabshah is playing an active role in research and capacity building.
The Inauguration Ceremony for the AR/VR & Digital Twin Lab, which was established as part of the Erasmus+ CATCH_VR project, was successfully held on May 7, 2026, at the Department of Software Engineering, QUEST Nawabshah.
The Vice Chancellor of QUEST, Prof. Dr. Saleem Raza Samo; Pro Vice Chancellor QUEST, Prof. Dr. Kishan Chand Mukwana; along with the CATCH_VR project officer and Chairman of the Software Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Pardeep Kumar; and all respected Deans, officially inaugurated the lab.

As a key member of this distinguished consortium, QUEST Nawabshah is playing an active role in research, capacity building, and the development of technologically advanced labs and learning environments that prepare students for the future.
The newly launched AR/VR & Digital Twin Lab will function as a center for innovation, research collaboration, and industry-focused learning, offering students and researchers practical experience in immersive technologies, virtual simulations, digital modeling, and smart engineering applications. – PR
