Chashma Sugar Mills Limited has commenced the modernization of its plant and machinery at its CSM Unit-II in Ramak, Dera Ismail Khan, as part of its growth and expansion strategy.
In a disclosure submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the company stated that it is also installing molecular sieves at its ethanol fuel plant to enhance operational efficiency and production capacity.
The move is aligned with the company’s long-term strategy to upgrade infrastructure, improve productivity, and strengthen its position in the ethanol and sugar sectors.
The company has requested the PSX to disseminate the information among market participants in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Market analysts view the development as a positive step toward modernization and value addition in Pakistan’s agro-based industry, particularly in the ethanol segment. – ER News Desk
