
Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that modern technology and digital connectivity are the foundations of a progressive society, adding that the Sindh government is taking effective measures to promote information technology and digital infrastructure across the province.
In his message issued on the occasion of World Telecommunication and Information Society Day on Sunday, the chief minister emphasized the need to equip young people with modern technological skills in line with emerging global requirements. He said investment in the information technology sector would create new employment opportunities and contribute to economic growth.
Murad Ali Shah stated that providing equal digital facilities to both rural and urban areas remains among the government’s top priorities. He added that technology can play a transformative role in improving education, healthcare and governance systems.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment to digital inclusion, the chief minister said modern communication systems are playing a vital role in promoting development, transparency and public service delivery. – ER
