Fecto Cement Limited has informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) about changes in its Board of Directors following the resignation of two independent directors.
According to the company’s notice to PSX, Mr. Aamir Ghani and Mr. Mohammad Anwar Habib have resigned from their positions as Independent Directors, including the relevant chairmanships of the Board and committees, with effect from January 14, 2026.
Subsequently, the Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Safdar Abbas Morawala and Mr. Ahmed Mujtaba Memon as Independent Directors of the company with effect from the same date. The appointments have been made from the Data Bank of Independent Directors in compliance with Section 166 of the Companies Act, 2017. Both directors will serve for the remainder of the existing term.
The company further informed that Mr. Jamil Ahmed Khan has been appointed as Chairman of the Board, replacing Mr. Aamir Ghani, effective January 14, 2026. – ER News Desk
