A female student of a private university located on Raiwind Road in Lahore’s Nawab Town area jumped from the rooftop.
According to the police, the 21-year-old student jumped from the second floor of the building and was shifted to the hospital in critical condition.
The police said that Nawab Town police reached the spot and have initiated proceedings.
Police further stated that a few days earlier, a male student of the same university had also died by suicide after jumping from the fourth floor.
According to the police, the female student is enrolled in the D-Pharm program and is a resident of Narang Mandi in the Sheikhupura district. The university administration closed the institution following the incident. – ERMD
