
Ghandhara Tyre and Rubber Company Limited (GTR) has received official approval and certification from the Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO), enabling the company to export its tyre products to six Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.
In a material information notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company said the GSO certification allows GTR Tyres to access the markets of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
The company described the certification as a significant milestone that will strengthen its export portfolio and support its strategy of expanding into international markets.
GTR stated that the approval reflects its continued commitment to producing tyres that meet internationally recognised quality and safety standards, while reinforcing its position in the global tyre industry.
The company added that it remains focused on enhancing its international presence and delivering high-quality products in compliance with global standards. – ERMD
