Kaspersky has announced updates to its cybersecurity solutions aimed at helping Pakistani businesses strengthen their protection against cyber threats through advanced artificial intelligence (AI)-powered detection and response tools.
According to the latest Kaspersky study, one in three companies plans to integrate Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) or Extended Detection and Response (XDR) capabilities into their security operations centres to provide stronger and more reliable protection. In response to this growing demand, Kaspersky has upgraded its Kaspersky Next product line with enhanced AI features and security tools.
The updated Kaspersky SOC management console enables businesses to manage security operations on a single platform while using AI to speed up data searches and improve threat detection. The upgrades are also designed to reduce hardware requirements, potentially lowering costs and improving operational efficiency.
Kaspersky Next is the company’s flagship business cybersecurity product line, offering real-time protection, threat visibility, investigation and response capabilities through EDR and XDR. It includes Kaspersky Next Optimum for small and medium-sized businesses and Kaspersky Next Expert for enterprises of all sizes.
The latest Kaspersky Next Expert release includes major enhancements to AI-powered security technologies, EDR capabilities and deployment options. New AI features can detect DLL hijacking attacks and automatically generate alerts when suspicious activity is identified.
The system also uses AI-driven correlation rules to establish normal patterns of login activity. When unusual behaviour is detected, the technology can trigger alerts indicating potential account theft, helping security teams respond to threats more quickly. – ERMD
