Lucky Cement Limited has announced that its subsidiary, Lucky Motor Corporation Limited (LMC), has entered into an exclusive partnership with GAC Group, a Fortune 500 company ranked among the top performers in the JD Power China Quality Survey.
According to a disclosure submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the strategic alliance marks a significant step in LMC’s efforts to bring advanced automotive technology and innovative mobility solutions to the Pakistani market.
LMC is currently engaged in the manufacturing, assembly, marketing, distribution, and sale of KIA and Peugeot vehicles, along with parts and accessories in Pakistan. The company also has an agreement with Samsung Gulf Electronics for the assembly of Samsung-branded mobile devices in the country.
With the addition of GAC to its automotive portfolio, LMC aims to further strengthen and diversify its product lineup, reinforcing its commitment to offering high-quality, reliable, and globally recognized vehicles to consumers in Pakistan.
As the parent company, Lucky Cement continues to pursue a diversified growth strategy across multiple sectors, including cement, automobiles, mobile phone assembly, chemicals and agricultural sciences, pharmaceuticals, energy, as well as copper and gold mining, with a focus on enhancing earnings quality and maximizing shareholder value. – ER News Desk
