Kohinoor Mills Commences Commercial Production at Apparel Division

The development was disclosed by the company in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). According to the notice, the newly established manufacturing facility spans an approximate production area of 16,000 square metres and has an annual production capacity exceeding five million garments.

The company aims to achieve a production target of 5,000 garments per day per shift by June 30, 2026. As of now, the Apparel Division employs a workforce of more than 480 people.

Kohinoor Mills said the facility has been designed to meet the requirements of modern fashion retail businesses and is equipped with state-of-the-art stitching, washing and finishing lines. These capabilities will enable the production of high-quality casual wear and performance garments.

The availability of in-house fabrics from the company’s existing weaving and dyeing divisions is expected to ensure consistent quality, product standardization and sustainability across the apparel value chain.

The management believes that this forward integration into apparel manufacturing will significantly enhance the company’s value-added product mix, deepen customer wallet share and contribute meaningfully to revenue growth. The initiative is also expected to support improved profitability and strengthen Kohinoor Mills’ long-term position in the textile and apparel sector. – ER Web Desk
