Zong has launched Z HomeFi, a 5G fixed wireless access (FWA) home broadband service, aiming to expand high-speed internet connectivity and bring next-generation digital services to households across Pakistan.
The service is available in the country’s top 10 cities and is being offered exclusively through Zong’s Customer Service Centres. The company plans to extend its availability to franchises in the future.
Commenting on the launch, Zong Head of Marketing Sajid Munir said technology’s real value lies in its ability to improve everyday life. He said Z HomeFi brings 5G connectivity directly into homes, offering customers a convenient broadband solution without the need for fibre installation or conventional fixed-line infrastructure.
The service is designed to support a range of digital activities, including online learning, remote work, video streaming, content creation and communication. It aims to provide households with greater flexibility and easier access to digital services.
Through Z HomeFi, Zong is seeking to advance its “Aisa Hai Future” brand promise by extending 5G technology to home users and supporting Pakistan’s digital connectivity goals. The launch marks another step in the company’s efforts to expand access to advanced broadband services and contribute to a more connected and digitally inclusive society. – ERMD
