Zahid Hussain Khand, Vice Chancellor of Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage, held a meeting with Sultana Siddiqui of HUM Network Limited to discuss the launch of a new undergraduate program titled BS Film and Television in collaboration with the media group.
The proposed program aims to nurture creative talent, enhance technical expertise, and equip students with industry-relevant skills by aligning academic learning with contemporary media practices.
During the meeting, the vice chancellor highlighted the importance of industry-academia collaboration, emphasizing that HUM Network’s vast experience in the media sector would play a key role in shaping the program. Both sides discussed areas of cooperation, including curriculum development, guest lectures, workshops, internships, and technical support to ensure the program meets modern industry standards.
The meeting was also attended by Hassan Akbar and Nazia Enam Siddiqui.
HUM Network Limited is one of Pakistan’s leading entertainment and media groups, operating multiple television channels including HUM TV, which is widely recognized for its popular dramas and high-quality productions. The network has played a significant role in shaping Pakistan’s television industry and continues to expand its footprint in digital media and content production.
Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage is a public sector university based in Sukkur, Sindh, specializing in art, design, architecture, and heritage studies.
