Eid-ul-Fitr was marked with warmth and unity across Energy Solutions (Pvt.) Limited and ESL Renewables (Pvt.) Limited, as teams came together to celebrate the spirit of togetherness that defines the organization. The Head Office hosted a festive Eid get-together and lunch, where colleagues shared moments of joy, reflection, and connection beyond the workplace.
The celebrations extended beyond the Head Office, with regional teams joining virtually, reinforcing the sense of one unified ESL family. A key highlight of the occasion was the address by the CEO, who shared a message centered on gratitude, faith, and collective growth.
Reflecting on the essence of Eid and the organization’s journey, he referenced Surah Ibrahim (14:7), reminding everyone of Allah’s promise that gratitude leads to increased blessings. He emphasized the importance of shukar—not only for the opportunity to observe the blessed month of Ramadan through fasting and عبادات—but also for the company’s journey over the past two decades. From navigating challenges to achieving sustained growth, he acknowledged that these milestones are a result of collective effort, resilience, and above all, the blessings of Allah. He also highlighted with pride that despite industry challenges, the organization has maintained a notably low layoff rate, reflecting its people-first approach and strong internal culture.
Further, he referred to Surah Hud (11:88), emphasizing the concept of “tawfeeq” — that true ability and success come only through Allah’s will. He expressed gratitude that the organization has been granted the capability to strive, grow, and achieve with purpose.
In addition, the message drawn from Surah At-Talaq (65:2-3), reinforcing the principle that those who adopt taqwa are guided through difficulties, and are provided for from sources beyond their expectations. This served as a powerful reminder of the values that underpin ESL’s journey — conducting business with integrity, reliance on Allah, and a commitment to doing what is right.
The gathering was not only a celebration of Eid, but also a reflection of the organization’s shared beliefs and culture — one that prioritizes unity, gratitude, and mutual support. As the teams continue to move forward, this spirit of togetherness and faith remains central to ESL’s continued growth and success. – ER
