
The body of a first-year student of the Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology (QUEST) has reportedly been recovered after he went missing on Friday, sparking grief and mourning across the university.
The deceased student was identified as Aqib Almani. According to preliminary reports, Aqib had gone missing after leaving with some friends from the university on Friday. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance and death remain unclear.
Students claimed that Aqib had been subjected to brutal torture. They alleged that his body bore cut wounds, signs of acid use and pistol-shot injuries. These claims have not yet been independently verified.
The incident has cast a pall of grief and mourning over the university, with students expressing shock and demanding clarity regarding the circumstances of his death.
