PAKISTAN
Hinopak Motors Limited has announced the reappointment of Mr. Muhammad Aslam Sanjrani as Chairman and Mr. Takayuki Kizawa as Chief Executive Officer following the election of directors at the Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) held on November 26, 2025. The new appointments take effect from December 3, 2025.
In a filing to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company stated that the Board of Directors unanimously endorsed both leaders to continue steering Hinopak through its ongoing operational and strategic initiatives.
The reappointment reflects the Board’s confidence in the leadership’s ability to strengthen the company’s market position, improve operational efficiencies, and navigate current economic challenges in the commercial vehicle segment.
Company Performance Snapshot
Hinopak Motors, one of Pakistan’s leading manufacturers of commercial vehicles, has faced a challenging business environment over the past two years due to reduced demand, high financing costs, and supply chain disruptions.
Key performance highlights from recent periods include:
Gradual recovery in sales as economic activity shows early signs of stabilization.
Cost optimization measures implemented to counter rising input and energy costs.
Focus on localized parts production to reduce reliance on imports and improve pricing competitiveness.
After-sales service expansion, aimed at strengthening customer retention and long-term brand value.
Despite industry-wide pressures, Hinopak has continued to maintain its leading presence in the heavy-duty and medium-duty truck segments. The reappointment of the top leadership is expected to provide continuity to the company’s recovery plan and ongoing strategic realignment. – ER News Desk
