K-Electric Limited has informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) that it has filed an appeal before the NEPRA Appellate Tribunal under Section 12-G of the NEPRA Act, 1997, challenging the decision issued by the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on October 20, 2025.
The Company stated that this development follows its earlier disclosure made on October 21, 2025. As the NEPRA Appellate Tribunal is currently non-functional, K-Electric has also filed Constitutional Petitions Nos. D-5384, D-5385, D-5386, and D-5387 of 2025 before the High Court of Sindh at Karachi.
In this regard, the Sindh High Court, through its interim order dated November 4, 2025, has directed that “no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner in terms of the impugned decision till the next date of hearing.”
K-Electric confirmed that the statement has been duly authorized and submitted in compliance with Sections 96 and 131 of the Securities Act, 2015 and Regulation 5.6.1(a) of the Rule Book of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited. – ER News Desk
