
CLIMATE CHANGE
A plantation drive was successfully held at the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Regional Office in Karachi on Wednesday, as part of ongoing efforts to promote a greener and healthier environment.
The initiative was carried out in line with the vision of the PEC Chairman and under the guidance of the Vice Chairman PEC Sindh. The drive was organized with the support of Rotary Club Karachi Defence and Community Policing Karachi (CPK), reflecting strong collaboration for environmental sustainability.
A large number of engineers from various departments, along with representatives of partner organizations, PEC officials, and members of the PEC Governing Body, participated in the event.
Among the distinguished guests were Syed Najmi Alam, Ali Raza, Hamid Hussain, and Abdul Jabbar Shaikh.
Souvenirs were presented to the guests by PEC Governing Body members Engr Mohsin Ali Khan and Engr Wazir Ahmed Shaikh, along with PEC Regional Office Head Engr Niaz Ahmed, on behalf of the Vice Chairman PEC Sindh, in recognition of their support and participation.
During the drive, more than 200 saplings were planted in front of the PEC Regional Office Karachi, marking a significant step toward environmental conservation and a sustainable future.
