
Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan visited the Guangda Electric Vehicle (EV) Training Base, where he reviewed state-of-the-art training facilities and explored avenues for strengthening technical skills development in the rapidly growing electric mobility sector.
During the visit, Rana Mashhood toured advanced EV laboratories and workshops equipped with modern technical tools, industrial simulators, and automated systems designed to support the evolving electric vehicle industry.
Experts at the facility briefed him on the latest technologies and training methodologies being used to prepare skilled professionals for the sector.
The PMYP chairman also interacted with trainers, technical specialists, and students, gaining firsthand insight into ongoing vocational education programmes and emerging trends in EV technology.
Speaking on the occasion, Rana Mashhood emphasized the importance of practical, industry-oriented training in preparing Pakistan’s youth for future employment opportunities.
He noted that the electric mobility sector offers vast potential for job creation, entrepreneurship, and technological innovation.
He said equipping young people with modern technical skills is essential to meeting the demands of a changing global economy and enabling them to contribute effectively to sustainable development.
The visit highlighted the growing cooperation between Pakistan and China in vocational training, youth development, innovation, and technology transfer. Officials from both sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding collaborative initiatives aimed at enhancing workforce skills and supporting emerging industries.
