Pakistan showcases energy-sector capabilities at Middle East Energy 2026 -

Pakistan has showcased its growing energy-sector capabilities at the 50th edition of Middle East Energy 2026, with Consul General Hussain Muhammad inaugurating the Pakistan Pavilion at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The three-day exhibition, being held from Sept. 1 to 3, brings together more than 35,000 energy professionals and attendees, 1,900 international exhibitors and participants from more than 150 countries.

Organised under the auspices of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), the Pakistan Pavilion features five Pakistani companies presenting their products, expertise and innovative solutions across key energy-transition areas. These include power generation, electricity grids and transmission, energy storage and energy management.

Hussain Muhammad said Pakistan’s participation reflected the country’s growing capabilities and potential in the international energy market. He said the exhibition provided Pakistani companies with an opportunity to promote smart energy solutions, renewable technologies and power infrastructure to a global audience.

The consul general said participation in international exhibitions could help Pakistani businesses identify new markets, develop partnerships with international companies and strengthen the country’s presence in the global energy sector.

He also thanked UAE authorities, particularly the Dubai World Trade Centre, for facilitating Pakistan’s participation and acknowledged the efforts of the Commercial Section of the Consulate.

During the inauguration, Hussain Muhammad visited the participating companies’ stalls and met their representatives, assuring them of the Consulate’s support. The ceremony was attended by Trade and Investment Counsellor Ali Zeb Khan, Counsellors M. Haroon Chaudhry and Muhammad Saleh, Pakistan Business Council Dubai Chairman Shabbir Merchant, representatives of the participating companies and other guests. – ERMD
