Adobe Expands Saudi Partnership, Offers Free AI Tools to 27 Million Users -

Adobe has expanded its partnership with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and government-backed artificial intelligence (AI) company Humain, offering more than 27 million eligible citizens and residents 12 months of free access to its AI-powered tools.

Under the expanded agreement, users will receive free access to Adobe Firefly Standard and premium features of Adobe Express. The package will also include a new image-generation model developed by Adobe and Humain and tailored to Saudi culture.

The new model will support Arabic-language prompts and enable users to create images designed to reflect local cultural elements. Adobe said the initiative represents a commitment valued at more than $4 billion.

The free subscriptions are expected to begin rolling out by the end of 2026.

Adobe and Humain first announced their partnership in November, with the companies seeking to develop generative AI tools capable of producing content in Arabic and serving users across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East.

The expanded deal is also expected to support Adobe’s efforts to grow its AI user base as competition intensifies in the design software market. Smaller companies have increasingly challenged established players, making adoption of AI-powered creative tools an important part of Adobe’s growth strategy. – ERMD
