BankIslami has entered into a strategic partnership with Resecurity, a US-based cybersecurity and intelligence company, to enhance digital security and provide a safer banking experience for its customers.
Under the partnership, Resecurity will provide Digital Risk Monitoring and Cyber Threat Intelligence services, enabling BankIslami to monitor external threats, dark web activity, and potential data exposure in real time. This will help the bank identify and prevent cyber threats before they affect operations or customers.
The collaboration supports BankIslami’s goal of offering secure and seamless digital banking services while ensuring customer data protection in line with Shariah principles. The agreement was signed at the bank’s head office in Karachi in the presence of senior officials from both organizations.
BankIslami President and CEO Rizwan Ata said the partnership reflects the bank’s commitment to adopting global best practices in cybersecurity. The initiative also marks another step in the bank’s digital transformation strategy focused on innovation, operational excellence, and customer trust.-ERMD
