PAKISTAN
The 3rd International Food & Agriculture Exhibition — FoodAg 2025 — is being held today at the Expo Centre Karachi, bringing together Pakistan’s largest-ever gathering of international food buyers. The three-day event, running from 25–27 November, will be inaugurated by the Federal Minister for Commerce, Mr. Jam Kamal Khan.
Held under the theme “Harvesting Innovation, Cultivating Sustainability,” the exhibition features more than 350 leading Pakistani exporters showcasing the nation’s premium Basmati rice, kinnows, dates, dehydrated mangoes, Himalayan pink salt, seafood, halal meat and dairy products, spices, and value-added foods. Over 800 pre-qualified international buyers from more than 80 countries are attending — the biggest buyer delegation Pakistan has ever hosted for a single trade event.
TDAP Chief Executive Mr. Faiz Ahmad highlighted Pakistan’s growing global reputation as a reliable food supplier. “We are not just hosting an exhibition; we are opening the doors to Pakistan’s abundant harvest and our unbreakable commitment to feeding the world sustainably. FoodAg has, in just three years, become the region’s most important food-trade platform because Pakistan delivers — even in the toughest years,” he said.
He added that with thousands of pre-scheduled B2B meetings, business generation is expected to cross USD 1 billion, creating jobs and long-term partnerships across the country’s agriculture value chain.
Federal Minister Jam Kamal Khan said the government’s market-opening diplomacy and Pakistan’s diverse agro-climatic zones are transforming the country from a major producer into a leading branded supplier. “FoodAg 2025, with this historic gathering under one roof, is clear proof that the strategy is delivering results,” he noted.
The record buyer delegation includes major importers from China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Europe (including Surya Foods and Aytac Foods), GCC countries, Africa, North America and Australia.
The event will also feature thousands of B2B meetings, nine conferences on sustainability and traceability, and a Pakistan Cuisine Pavilion where 21 celebrity chefs from five continents will present live culinary demonstrations using Pakistani ingredients.
FoodAg 2025 is expected to be a landmark event, generating over USD 1 billion in export opportunities for Pakistan.
